Now, I'm not one to go for the summer ales that hit the stores in early June. Mostly, they are a bit too fruity tasting. Don't get me started on that raspberry tea masquarading as a beer called Shock Top.
I might want to eat some raspberries, strawberry's or pineapples with my beer, but I don't want it inside the beer.
Anyway, the Sam Adams Summer Ale is a little different. It has a little bit of a lemony aftertaste, but has the hoppy bite to know you are actually drinking a beer (or maybe it's a hint of pepper).
Anyway, you could do worse. Was that really a Coors Light special they were running last night?
